That highlighted dial is the one for the brightness of the interior lighting. The one next to that one is the one for the height, however being Xenons they are auto levelling. It is possible that they are aimed too high, and for that you would need to adjust the beam manually

Pic above has nothing at all to do with headlight height.
AS stated this is the interior illumination brightness of the dash lights etc.

If there was headlight height adjustment then you would have another rotary dial next to the brightness dial.

and this conversation has nothing to do with R32 headlights because theyre xenons and auto have an auto leveling feature.

They need to be adjusted manually if they are aimed too high. Id get your dealer to check them out during your next service perhaps.

Sorry my mistake with the marking in the pic of the headlight height adjustment, I knew it was one or the other but couldn't be bothered going out to the car and testing it

Well to follow up the cruise fuel figure, I just returned from the airport and finished up with 6.4l/100 for the 120k trip

Aircon off on both trips. Saw as low as 6.3 on the return, fuel gauge now just a tiny bit below half.
