  • Ceramic low dust pads - R32 mkV

    Anyone using Hawks, Akebono's etc?

Where did you get them for a fair price?

    Thanks Bazzle

I use GCT Bendix which are Ceramic technology low dust, not sure if they have them for the Mk5 yet, sure they would have though.

Yes, Bendix appears to have DB1849 for the fronts. But interestingly, they come with a wear sensor only on one side, according to the site.

Are sensors transferable? Do they include only one as a spare, in case either of the existing can't be carried across?
Or, is there indeed only one sensor on the golf? I guess, in theory both sides should wear at the same rate.

There's also DB1865 for the rears. No sensors on those.

I put GCTs on my folks' Volvo and they seem to have a good feel despite dust levels being quite low too.

Has anyone also used EBC Greenstuffs? How well do they compare to GCTs?

      cheers
