    CW's are nice (and rare)..

But i'm sure there are better investments even if they are the last VR6 Golf.

I'm loving mine, and there is plenty of time to get another turbo or new version in the future.

anybody? especially a dealer? I reckon the only thing the R32 lacks is the option of the R36 programmable seats, though not too keen on the R36's velour stuff.

i have asked a few dealer friends of mine at VW and Inchcape and am waiting on an answer as to possibility and cost of adding in:-
            1. R36 programmable seats to the R32
            2. R36 steering wheel to the R32

LOL, its probably cheaper just to buy the R36 and swap them over yourself

my pet hate is to go to my car and have to change all my 400 settings on the car just so i can drive. I'd like to be able to just hit my memory button and it all goes straight to where i want it all.

Even better would be if it recognises i am coming (from my keyring proximity) and makes sure its all done and dusted by the time i open the door.

Have you considered a look at a Mark 4 R32.

Its looks are not outdated, and you pretty much got the same performance.

Have a look they look awesome still.

The drive is the same bro. So good to drive.

It wont go up in value.

2 Door subaru's were only made and shipped to australia in 1999 in a batch of 399. No more ever got sold here and grey market ones overseas are rare.

EVEN THEN the price still fell to below $30k from the $70k starting.

                        Some in low 20's even.

R32 won't go up in value over time. I guarantee it!

                          Car's aren't assets.

Not many cars will, with a few exceptions like the GTHO, but given the foresight and other investments you could have had it still isn't worth it.

If you had bought a house with the $72K my Audi cost in1989 it would be worth in excess of $500K. Instead the car 90Q 20V (one of only 70 ever sold here) is worth $4K...

R32 are losing upto R80 000 (+/- $8000 US) in less than a year in South Africa.
Imo the S3 holds is value better than the R32 currently and in the past.
I do think it will stabilise between $25 000 and $30 000US... but in the first year it loses way to much!

Did Aus get MK4 R32s? We didnt...
