Stuck in an R32!

Former Le Mans winner, BMW F1 and VW Scirocco GT24 driver Hans Stuck had some interesting things to say about Golfs on Carpoint recently.

He's owned many, had the GTI when it first came out, and bought an investment car after working on the development of the MKVI.

Trouble is, it's not a MKVI!

"I have a little bit of a problem -- I bought an R32. Because I know there will never be a six-cylinder in the GTI in the future. It's an 08-model with only 5000km in dark grey. It has to come into the garage and I'm going to keep it..."

What a champion, my sentiments exactly. Get something that's special forever (R32, 'relli) not something that's new for a season.

hans = champion! no wonder vw is using him as an ambassador. he's so hardcore he converted his whole family across.

Would have been fun to watch the VW PR guys when they read that story. The moral seems to be: Buy an R32 or at least a MKV lol.
