Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • How Much Did You Pay For Your Gti Pirelli

Looking at buying GTi Pirelli. Just wanted to know what people have been paying for their gti pirelli's. Your feedback would be great.

Mine was full rack rates, and via lovely Western Australian 'screw ya till ya can't walk' stamp duty rates too.

Mine was a burger meal's cost under 60 large. I got a 5 door fully loaded though (xenons, sat nav, parkers). I've seen them way way cheaper - mine was essentially full retail price with the usual monster BS dealer delivery charges etc etc etc..

I can get one for $46000 driveaway. I'm guessing to get a five door with mark vi with leather, dsg plus on roads would be around $50000, with my choice of colour.

With pirelli, I will have to go with black or silver. Though there is a blue one in perth with sat nav, $47 plus onroads. I might try a swindle a deal with that car, 3 door blue sat nav. Only problem is that I live in Melbourne, I might be able to orginise something with the dealer.

It's a tough call, but I'll still be as proud as punch with my Pirelli when then Mk6 comes out.

Mine's low 5 seconds, and there's only 41 of them in the country.. Yellow 5 door...

Unlike the Mk6 which will be as common as foreclosed mortgages when they come out.
