  • Airconditioning not working

    Hello all dear members,

Just find the A/C isn't working at all, fan is ok, but not cool air, can't hear any connection noise while the moment of switching on, as used to hear the compressor starting its work.

I tried looking into the user handbook, but couldn't locate the fuse for A/Con, want to check the fuse before sending my car back for the troublesome, but warranty repair.

Would like to get some helps here, thanks.

    Cheers, James

A good chance there's no gas in her. Compressor won't engage if pressure switch says it's low.

I believe compressor runs all the time. Not sure what you are driving??

Some MkV Golf models have faulty compressors.
They sieze and a shear 'pin' behind pulley gives so pulley freewheels.

Sounds like your compressor's shot, It's a well known issue. Take it to your dealer and it should be covered under warranty.
