Estimated cost to repair dent in rear wheel arch?

Wow the same thing happened to me as well where someone dented my rear wheel arch in a hit and run.. I didnt think it would cost upwards of $1000 though

The damage on mine doesn't *look* too bad , so I'm wondering if they can't panel beat the dent and respray the whole panel? Maybe I'll post up photos later...

Problem is the rear wheel arch area isn't a small panel, goes all the way to the front of the car, over the roof and down the other side.

1600 is for exactly what you described, beat the dent out and respray.

I think I will get another quote for my repair.

I originally got the one panel shop to give me two quotes for my scratch on the left wheel arch, the first quote for $1600 was the bumper respray and rear guard, joining the paint on the left gutter on roof. The second was $2500 this included the respraying the roof and joining the paint in the right gutter (as a bat has shat and damaged my paint in the middle of the roof ).

Looks like I will be making a claim. Bugger.
