    Nice pic btw
Well you turn left, then right, then left and you're onto the track... Circulating in an anti-clockwise direction.

Neither of the big long straights were used, and neither were either of the skidpans.

Bit of a bummer, but made sense. If we'd had the big long straights, I'm sure there would have been one or two offs.

To be honest I dunno, I was too busy watching the road!

I did hit about 140 on the 'cooldown' straight as you come off the track... The half-straight where if you go off, you'd fly off down into a ditch and into a chain fence..

The brembos were absolutely tops though. Probably of all the mods, it made the day.....

Ive only done the longer track at AHG in my GT-P and was hitting 195 at the end of the straight. its got a nice long bend at the end, so that was quite quick too (but wasnt watching the speedo then! LOL)

I've no doubt the Relli has much better shocks etc, but I've come from a RWD V8 as well, and apart from the understeer, I've had the back end "bounce" or "wobble" around on me too when pushing it too hard around corners. Obviously not at your sort of speeds, but then my car is not set up as seriously from the factory, so it'd lose its composure earlier. I'd have to say it was un-nerving, and it may indeed be a MKV thing?

Maybe chucking a bag of cement in the boot'll fix it up....! Too much power in them brakes...

Nothing to do with the MK5. Any car will understeer / barge like a boat if you come in to a corner too hot.

During my time at AHG my KWV3 and Proxes R888 could only respond politely to my initial douche-driving.
Once I'd had the instructor in for a lap, it changed my perspective and approach completely.
I was still frying the inside front tyre coming out of the large sweeper (near the start) until I relaxed my technique and fed the power back in.

... and this was in a 170hp GT, god knows how you've punished those pirellis

^ Depends what you want. Suspension for getting around the track smoother (which equals faster), or power for a gut rush every time you push the accelerator. I only have a reflash, and think it's great fun for regular road use for the money outlaid. If I was intending to spend a lot of time at the track I'd be doing suspension for sure.

Yeah it's a tough call. If you only want something to improve your track times, and depending on the type of track, suspension will likely improve things.

But most of your life you're not on the track, so powaahhhh is always a rush, and always useful.

Go out stock first time I reckon. It lets you really see the difference any of your mods make. You'll appreciate them more.
(althought if I had a GTI, it would be flashed by now)

Queensland Raceway is a power curcuit, big corners and straights, which is kind of boring, but a nice track to have a thrash on! i believe track priority mods in this order 1) Suspension 2) Brakes 2) Semis 4) Power. Once you get your cornering down pack then focus on power

and to not be too aggresive on the track is better, you need to flow
