How do you change the Healdlight/indicator/park bulb on a 2008 Jetta?

I have googled my brains out and I always find results for the Mk4 Jetta (USA).. So any advice or links would be greatly appreciated!

Without wanting to sound like a knob but have you read the manual? I'm pretty sure all the info is in there. Otherwise have a look at the following thread of GolfmkV http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8663

I replaced my headlights with Osram nightbreaker +90, parker lights Philips Blue Visions and high beams with Blue Visions, all to give a much whiter light.

You wont skin yourself doing them.

THe main H7 bulb is behind a screw cap type thing. Refiting the holder thingo is a bit interesting but patience wll get you there in the end.

Parker is ridiculously easy, remove the rubber grommet, locate the parker bulb and just pull it. Out she comes. High beam is a little trickier but easily done if you keep an eye on things.

      Have fun.

Oh wow sorry. I just presumed like the Bora and Touareg Volkswagen wouldn't have included it.

          But thanks for your advice

So yeah - my left side low beam holder seems to be stuck! Anyone had anything similar?

                  its not hard mate
open the bonnet, pull the rubber mount off, and the parker light assembly TWISTS open and there u have it.....parker light exposed. Just pull the parker out and install the new one

regarding the headlight bulb, same thing. just twist it anticlockwise to open and clockwise to tighten again.

p.s this is all in the manual

The tricky bit seems to be ensuring that when you reinsert the holder you have the keys correct *and* the depth of insertion correct, as it seems to be possible to get the holder jammed. Most irritating, no idea how to un-jam it.

The low beam in these cars are easy, and the parkers are pretty straightforward too. High beam is a prick of a job. Easy to get out but very very difficult to get it back in. Hard bit is trying to get the clips back around the bolt things that hold them in place.

ive never had a problem with this? I dont understand why its so hard? not tryin to sound like a cock but its very straight forward. Pull the rubber mount off...twist, reveal bulb, pull bulb out, insert new bulb, carefully put it back in the housing, twist to lock, reattach the rubber mount

The low beam doesn't use the rubber seal, you unscrew a plastic lid. The point is that after fiddling I found out the right way to do the right bulb, but the holder for the left seems to be jammed. Truly, it's not that hard to get it wrong

very convenient that this pops up again though....

today, i tried (and failed i might add) to get at my park light holders.

no matter what i did, they would simply not move.
i was using so much force, i was afraid that i would brake the high beam reflector.

anyone in the western sydney area care to come show me how im supposed to get these suckers out ?

before you all chime in, i did read the manual (which states that they are "supposed" to just pull out. not on mine ! they refused to come out.

i did manage to replace both high and low beam globes a week ago
(with Narva Blue power, which are fantastic by the way) but now the parkers have me completely stumped, and minus some skin.
