  • GTI Compliance plate

Hi, I'm selling my MK5 GTI but I can't find the compliance plate with the build date etc... Anyone know where it should be? I've tried the front door frame area and the engine bay.

I'd list it in the classifieds but have only just registered.

I'm a first time poster but have been reading the forum on and off for a while. I've had the GTI for 3 years and have a Passat TDI wagon on the boat to replace the GTI. My first VW was a '79 Golf GLD! My brother is active here and is a Polo GTI owner and modifier.

    Thanks.

Reading the manual is generally a good start!

Funnily enough, I read the manual and didn't find a specific reference that said its in the boot. I found it when I checked that I had the wheel lock nut adapter and other tools.
