Bodykit question

Hi guys

I am looking at getting an Edition 30 lip for my Jetta but I have a few questions....

1) I know of a website from overseas that stock this, but is there any way I can get this locally within Australia (seeing as how the ER is so atm)

2) Will this lip made for the golf GTI fit the front bar of the jetta?

and if not,

3) Will a GTI stock front bar fit a Jetta


I am also looking for some sideskirts and rear bar to complete the bodykit...any suggestions?

i am drawing my inspiration from DUBSESD from golfmkv.com.

he told me that his sideskirts and rear bar are stock GLI bodykit items.
Just curious as to whether the GLI stock bodykit items are the same as the TFSI bodykit items we have here in Australia?

As far as I knew, the front bar's were interchangeable...but I could be wrong! Sorry mate. Good luck with it though, I'd love to see something like that over here

Should fit the GT / GTI / Jetta (assuming the Jetta front is basically a colour coded or chrome GT front)
I believe the ED30 lip pictured is the same as the Pirelli edition. (check the pics in the MKV section)
Call your dealer's parts dept.

yeah not looking at getting the ED30/pirelli front lip from the dealers as i know will cost an arm and a leg...hopefully if i get it from somewhere else it'll only cost me an arm... hehe

i am pretty sure all the golf front bars are mounted to the chassis at the exact same spots. therefore, you can use pretty much any front set up you want. There are people in the US with R32 fronts on GTIs and Rabbits, so all is interchangable. Even with the fog light grills, GTs and Jettas are interchangable too.

Those GLI side skirts came standard with my MY08 TFSI Jetta. They are black though and I want to get them colour coded.

Is it just me or does that Jetta have limited turning room without rubbing the guards? The front wheel would touch if the wheel was turned any more ...
