  • Speedo Question

Can anyone help me explain why the 30km and 50km mark on the speedo are in red, and all others in white in my GTI?

I thought it was an indicator of when to change gears in manual transmission models under normal driving conditions.

it might be an indicator to when you should receive a warning signal that you haven't fastened your seatbelt.. seems like when i get to 30km/hr without my seatbelt fastened I hear a warning chime..

That chime activates at 15kph, your doors may lock at the same time.
