Where to get 3 Door GTI

Hey Guys and Girls, I know this is a long shot

Does anyone know where I can get a GTI 3 door, with DSG, Leather, and Sunroof

Went to dealers and they told us there were heaps, but only Silver, White and Red.
Then when the paperwork finally goes through, they are telling us none left in the country

Would you consider second hand? There are some well priced ones about at the moment due to the GFC...

Ring another dealer close by and tell them you are ready to sign if they can get you a car, no dealer should be messing about given the climate... All the best!

The girlfriend is getting it through a lease, so has its benetifs, no GST, corperate discount etc, wants to sign within a few days

Sometimes dealers can "hide" unsold cars so other dealers can't see them as unsold. They aren't supposed to, but I've heard of them doing it on popular models, as they make more money if they sell it themselves, rather than another dealer selling it.

Aftermarket leather is an option but you'll miss out on the heated seats with electric lumbar adjustment.

You'll have to compromise then. You can get aftermarket leather installed and the benefit is that you can choose your colour and you get full leather as well. The downside is that you lose the electric lumbar support and heated seats.

As for the roof you may have to live without one.

The DSG and 3 door should be easy to organise.

The dealer can fit the leather for you (they send the car out - but do your research on why they are using) and it's put in as part of the package.

Well I rang every dealer in Melbourne today (the ones I hadnt done yet)

I was told by a different dealer there were none, including demos etc in Aus, then 2 hours later they rang back and said they can get red white and sliver

Try to order it tomorrow if they can promise me they can get it

3dr with leather (no sunroof but sure could fit one aftermarket) at austral (brisbane) in that dark blue colour.
