Let me give you all a brief background....I've just "upgraded" from an 06 TFSI Jetta, which had the Bi-Xenon's(AWESOME LIGHTS!), and the Pirellie I got, didn't have the Xenon's fitted, so no big deal.
I was reading another post, which suggested the Osram Night Breakers, from Powerbulbs, in the UK. So, first off, Powerbulbs is a very effecient business, and gets your goods to the door very quickly. I was very impressed. I can't speak to the cost vs getting them in Aus, as I didn't even check, I just got the H7 Night Breakers, and the HB4's for the fog lights, as a bonus, they gave me the W5W phillips blue lights, which was very cool! I'm a bit of an impulse buyer
Anywho, the install was easy for the low beams, just remove the holder and put in the new bulb and twist back in. It's pretty neat in the fact that there is no wiring coming off the back of the low beam bulb! The fog lights just needed the one(1) screw removed, and then the 3 torx screws and wallah the fog lights were done! However, those bloddy little park lights...wow they hurt! The drivers side is really hard to get out, but the passanger side aint no picknick either. Just keep pulling from left to right on the bulb holder, until it comes out...It will, it's just going to hurt doing it.
I'll get some pics up shortly, or when the sun goes down, but I have to say that they are well worth it! The combo I have is Philips Blue Vision 9006 HB4, the Osram Night Breaker H7 and the Philips Blue Vision W5W(which is still free on thier site powerbulbs.com)
Enjoy!
