Got mine back today... App. all the symptoms the TSI been experiencing are normal. No Fault codes, I'm happy with that.. Pitty it wasn't a stinking hot day.

Got a few rattles sorted out so it wasn't time wasted...

I preferred your original edit "Pistols at dawn" then remembered you guys should be out ploughing the fields by that time

I can't bag you TDI guys though, I almost was one! Stilll love the TSI though and wouldn't swap it given the choice.
A little temperamental? Yeah..... Fun? Hell yeah!

Funnily enough it was perfect on the way home tonight (39 degrees) so went the long way through the hills

My car was definitely a little sluggish.. but my intake temps were measuring in the 50's and normally never over 42-43 max.

It is not surprising for a car to be sluggish in those kinda temps. My old subaru had a big Fk off HKS race intercooler 10cm thick and about 80cm wide. Still felt sluggish on hot days. Thats turbo cars for u!

                TODAY

                Normal

                      upper class??

how can they possibly be upper class when you have an extra 600cc?

power does the talking but cubes do the walking?

One must add that it is an extra 600 filthy, oil burning cubic centimetres.

Don't the TDI guys have a GTG each night @ cogdocs?
He reads them the posts, shows them the pitchas and they all learn sumthink.

Cog wants more pitchas though, 'cause some of the words we use are a bit out of his socio-economic sphere and he's not sure about their meaning...

Sorry, cog - couldn't resist (joking, OK?)

Pic attached - A few diesels arriving @ cog's place:
