  • Contact at VW Oz?

I've had the run around three times with a coolant leak in my 07 Jetta. It's time to get serious with the dealer and I intend to send an email to them before I hand over the car next week for rectification.

I would like to copy in VWA - does anyone have an email address for an appropriate person at VWA?

I gave the dealer a resounding 1-2 out of 10 in the VW service survey late last year but have not heard anything from them or VWA.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

When VWA get the surveys back, I was told by my brother (who was service manager at Barloworld Mentone) they disregard the ratings of 1-2 and 9-10 as a matter of course. So you probably wouldn't have had your say included with any of their figures! Not fair I know, but that's life.

as bad as it is...an email to VWA would be a useless gesture. You are best off working it through with the dealership and if it cant be resolved, take it to another one.

dont get too agro with the dealership people, they are probably less likely to want to help.

best of luck with it anyway.

From deep dark depths of the statistiics component in my degree this is normally done with surveys. It's due to the fact that this kind of response is rarely an accurate depiction of the overall actual results.
If anyone remembers the bell curve from high school maths, it's a bit like that. The vast majority lie somewhere in the middle not at the extremes.

Try a Hard Copy letter to the Managing director in Sydney.
