Last I heard, he was prepping a GIAC'd Caddy TDI with GTI suspension and steering wheel.

The suspensions getting changed, Its had a big brake overhaul (It ran at Mt Buller - pics over in this thread).

Why oh why won't it be at Bathurst giving hell to the 130i, MPS and WRX crowd. I used to love the R32 cars in the Prodrive days, the Vodafone operation was very slick.

i spoke to one person who shall be un-named that Dean said that the K04 car produced 420 kw atw.

he told not one but 2 people this story. i know cos i have spoken to one of them and the other i know who it is.
why would Dean say that figure for? i dunno?

I cant imagine what a front wheel drive would be like with that amount of power!! Be impossible to drive.

as if Dean will tell you he said that. must be an APR thing.
not sure weather he was serious or not tho. but they were the figures that i was told he said to 2 different people. (that surely can't be a coincidence?) maybe it was the arrogance in which he said it. must be another APR thing.
