  • Stokell track and training day 28.1.09 at QR

    Hi
I am an Brisbane amature car enthuasist, learning to drive quickly and safely on the track. I have attended a number of training/track days with different organisers. One the most professional outfits I have encounters is Paul Stokell Motorsports.

Paul is hosting a track and training day at Queensland Raceway on 28th January 2009. I have attended one of these sessions in 2008 and it was very well run. There are small run groups, well spaced out and with very little if any overtaking. There are several professional race drivers who rotate between cars to provide advice and training. I would recommend. I plan to take my brand new GTI out for a test run and see what it can do on the track in January. Should be fun.

If you are interested, you can email Paul directly for further details at:

    paul@stokellmotorsport.com.au

Later in the year, I am sure that if there was enough interest from Qld based Golf owners, we might be able to get Paul to organise a Golf/GTI track day. I am not volunteering to approach Paul about such a proposal at this stage, but it would be interesting to see if there was much demand for such an event.

I will introduce myself to Golf owners at the Stokell January 28th track day and we can discuss further.

    cheers
    Cameron

Might be good but I remember spending 7 hours repairing the Beetle in Targa Tas some years ago for zilch. Not even a cup of coffee.
          Good luck with it!
