Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Anyone bought the stainless steel dash accent kit?

    Hi All,

    I am considering buying the stainless steel dash accent kit from OEMplus http://oempl.us/index.php?main_page=...roducts_id=493. I want it to match the brushed alumium dash trims that come standard in the Jetta TFSI.



    Has anyone bought this kit or seen it in the flesh? Is it a close match for the factory brushed aluminum dash trims?

    they look ok installed in the pics I have seen.
    It doesnt really match the brushed accents in the cabin though. Its a bit more glossy.

    One thing to note though is none of it is actually metal. Its "stainless steel look"

      That does look nice though, IMO. Sometimes it can look messy and cheap, but that's clean.
