That seems to be the sizes most people say, but my confusion stems from the ABS guy telling me he would have to measure for pricing as there were several varying sizes, then VW not quoting me until they had a chassis number....alll very confusing....perhaps thicknesses vary for OEM stock????

VW won't quote anything without a chassis number - not even an oil filter.

ABS guy is just being careful. He's probably been stung by cars that have had upgrades done.

Take the wheel off & measure the diameter yourself. While you are there, have a look on the brake rotor hub & the minimum thickness should be stamped on there somewhere. Add 3mm & that will give you the original thickness. There aren't that many options.
