What % tint do you have? The back looks darker than the front for some reason.

Also, what bulid date is your Jetta? It doesnt have the black side skirts like my one does and they are both MY08 models.

The Charlestons do look really good

window tint is the darkest you can get. not sure of %.
all windows are the same... just the way the photo is.
not sure of the build date but i ordered mine in oct/nov 07 and it was delivered in feb 08.

I dont know about lucky. Its nice having them but I think they look kinda wierd in black when everything else is colour coded. Now I gotta fork out some $$ to get them colour coded.

Should look sweet once its done though.

Better than forking out a few thousand for th whole kit and paint. I would love the stock kit, its subtle yet makes a huge difference. Cant justify 4k though

I did want the body kit but dismissed the idea due to the cost. Now it might not be too bad

Haha I never noticed that!

I didnt take much notice of those plates because I have replaced them with the private plates I had from my previous car already.

The Charlestons do look good dont they? I couldnt bring myself to tick the box as I felt the price was a bit too much considering you dont get to keep the stock 17"s.

Dave_09JETTA can you confirm that you are getting an MY09 model? I lucked out and get an MY08 and I still reckon you will get some extra goodies with the MY09. Main thing will be the RCD510.

i'm sure they would give you a slightly bumpier ride as most lower profile tyres/ big rim combinations will over a higher profile tyre.
I cant tell for sure as i have never had the car without the 18's on it.
I dont really notice if its too bumpy as i prefer my cars to be a bit stiffer in the suspension etc anyways... i hate a car that seems to float around.

lol no Im not getting it from Werribee as my Lease company sources the vehicle for me and they have me traveling to Burwin Volkswagen in Ferntree Gully. Im driving a people mover at the moment a Kia Carnival 2004 model so its going to be quite a change for me.
Oh yeah Im excited alright and ill let everyone know all about it thats for sure, now roll on Wednesday come on hurry up I want my car NOW !!!

Oh my God,we had a 2001 Kia Carnival too,it was a lemon-the worst car we ever owned.
Went through 3 engines,numerous exhausts,radiator cracked,and we said enough is enough.
That was replaced by a 2005 Ford Territory TS...still in the family,a great car.
And then I replaced my TS Holden Astra with the Jetta...great move.
You will LOVE it.
I also almost bought from Burwin,but they messed me around with the trade in,so bought from South Yarra,and service at Camberwell...they are superb.

depends on what you were quoted. and depends upon whether they are factory fitted or dealer fitted.

had some RLine wheels dealer fitted to our polo gti and got to keep the orig gti wheels.

my charlestons were factory fitted tho... made sure of that with the price.
