Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Milltek exhaust

    Hey all,
I'm in the market now for an exhaust and no matter how many systems I look at I keep going back to the Milltek exhaust. Just wondering if anyone on here as a Milltek system on there GTI. I have spoken the gentleman who does it in Sydney and got a very resonable price, I looked and listened to the APR system and I personally think it doesn't have a patch on the sound of a Milltek system but that's only what I think. So I just wanna speak to someone with a Milltek system and get everyones advice. Thanks all
Good bye GTI Hello Golf R

Have you considered the AWE exhausts??

I'll probably get condemned for this, but a few guys I know run these on their GTIs with GIAC/VF and they go hard, no drone too!
