  • How to install GTI pedals in a Jetta?

    Hi all,

I am looking at installing the aluminium pedals that are available as an accessory in my Jetta. i am guessing these pedals are the same that come with the GTI

Can anyone tell me how these are installed? Is there any drilling involved?

The acc and brake look like swaps. The footrest looks like the left hand drive model one and may not fit?

      I am in Perth.

The picture was just a reference. The foot rest wont fit and doesnt get included anyway. We have to source those else where.

Just interested to see if anyone has fitted these pedals and could advise how easy or hard it is. The websites that sell these so its an easy install but they would say that wouldnt they

Its pretty easy, i found the only tricky bit was the acc pedal tabs. I just used a small blade screwdriver.
I was going to recommend TMTuning for the parts but they are $150us, when i bought them it was under $90 from memory but i wont bother now.
here's the link for the DIY.

There were on the accessories list provided to me by VW Wangara. Funnily enough, I got a list from Osborne Park but they didnt have half the accessories that Wangara had listed.

Havnt tried John Huges yet though.

                They are around $260.

How much is it from TMTuning with shipping? I thought the difference wouldnt be that big anymore when you factor in the conversion rate.
