Hi Guys,
Had my Jetta for about 3 weeks now (2000 kms) and loving it, it is a real Jet on a rollling start. I was amazed at the economy on my trip from Melbourne to Albury sitting on a final figure of 5.1 l/100 when I stopped with little effort for driving economically. I now normally get average 5.9 per tank with my mix of hwy/town driving.
I am intersted in giving it some more go over time though and would like to know what to look for in the land of Oz.
I am also a little concerned about how it 'launches'. A little bit slow on round abouts for my liking. Is there a launch control trick I can use to get it off the line a little quicker?
I believe my car has the new common rail engine, I am not sure how much development has happened yet for this. I am thinking of a chip/flash solution and hope that this may assist the launches.
