hi all, just wondering if anyone has any tips or a guide to remove the head unit so i can install an ipod adapter. My gti does not have navigation so it has the six stacker in the dash. My girlfriends polo has those little keyways for the radio removal tool but the golf gti does not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I think there is a how to guide on here but if not there are a heap on golfmkv.com and vwvortex.com.

Search is your friend. And no you don't need a special tool just a torx driver set and I strongly strongly suggest that you purchase some trim removal tools from ebay unless you want to end up with damaged trim.
