I find that if I plant it right away it's jerky. If I take my foot off the brake for a moment and then take off it's velvety smooth.
Occasionally I've felt the odd jerk in taking off and perhaps 1 in 50 coming to a stop it'll kick down to 1st with a jerk but by and large I find DSG very smooth.
If you're light on takeoff and it's giving you a lot of grief, I'd have it looked at.Comment
