Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    18" wheel and tyre reccomendations for Jetta

    Hi All,

    Any one got any reccomendations for 18" wheel and tyre packages suitable for a new Jetta. I like the look of the BBS Mesh style and some of the more filled in looking wheel centers (No point in showing off the stock brakes).

    Hi LS1 Cobra. A couple of us are looking at getting some BBS, RCs I think.for our GTIs. I have read on a UK forum where people wheels which have the incorrect offset and the tyres are rubbing on the innerguard liners so be aware of that. Notice in the photo of my car how close the wheels are running to my guards under hard cornering, not lowered either. Cheers
