About to purchase a second hand Golf tdi, need advice...

    Absolutely, both vehicles range in price from $23k-$26k and both were the 6 speed manual models.
    For 30 odd thousand I know VW were just recently doing drive away deals on the new pacific. Alas, we're a single income family whilst the wife is on maternity leave so second hand will have to do.

      $26,000 is a bit steep. 23-24,000 absolute max!!!! do they have any extras like tow bar, 17" alloys etc? even still bust their balls!!!

        I'm starting to get a bit suss on this one, i've rung up about it but couldn't test drive it as it was in the process of getting a roadworthy. That was 3 days ago, haven't heard from the since
        It's just about as cheap as I've seen for a car with km's as low as this.
        Even private sellers are wanting $24-25k. The 1.9tdi's are definitely a bit cheaper.
