Hey Everyone,
There is going to be a all day GTG in Melbourne on the 19th of October (Sunday) being organised by our resident GTG Guru Chris.
Meeting point: 8.30am start, is Village Court, Mulgrave, just off Springvale Road. Barloworld Holden and Barloworld Volkswagen are located in Village Court.
From what I'm aware of, there will be two non stock turbo GTI's on the day.
One with a AWE K04 with GIAC tuning, Stock Fueling with Stock Suspension and some bits and pieces
and
my car with a VF RSS20 GT2871RS (Full Kit) with GIAC tuning, Autotech Fuel Pump, VF Mounts, KW V3 Coilovers and other bits and pieces. No LSD, just finely tuned suspension.
Both cars are DSG and driven on a daily basis. Definitely debunks the myth that DSG can't handle more power. I've got over 66k on my car and over 10k of it done with the VF RSS20 kit.
I'm happy to give people a ride in it or drive it if your game enough...but if you get caught doing 100km over the speed limit, you have to pay the bills to get my car back from the impound. And while my car is impounded, I'll drive yours as I completely forgotten what a stock turbo GTI feels like.
