Seat Covers?

Hi All,

I've just taken delivery (last night) of my shiny new Golf (woohoo !!). I have a question of y'all. The front seats have side air bags so is it even possible to use seat covers? If so, can someone advise what they got and from where. If not, what do you do to protect the seat material from every day wear and tear?

Spray them with scotchguard well and this will protect against stains and marks etc. You can pick up cans at Coles and Woolies, also do the carpets whilst you're there. Allow two cans for the seat and carpets.

You can also buy seatcovers that are designed for cars with airbags but IMO they look like crap.

I bought a set of covers for the front seats and am very happy with them. They fit well and you barely notice the cut outs in the sides. They are thick, 100% wool and the dog loves them! From memory, the cost was about $300 and worth every cent IMHO.

Can't see the difference to using "their" forum to "lure" people and then use "their" forum to PM them.
