Ok Economy data is more useful with speed data. so....

Total kms: 15000
Trip computer average speed (average of averages): 36 km/hr
Trip computer average consumption (average of averages): 8.46 l/100k
Average consumption (based on distance and fuel used): 9.10 l/100k

Driver characteristics: Wife (mostly) with a heavy right foot.
Environment: Mostly Melbourne urban.

Had a surprise with the MFD showing I could get 800km from a Tank after filling it up yesterday..... Mind you i find that VERY unreliable, a bit of non frugal driving and that can go down a couple of 100km....

L/100 I'm actually getting 7.7L/100km (MFDs showing 7.5)

What are the other TSI owners getting?

GTom, as a twincharger i'm averaging about 7L/ 100km but i have been doing heaps of open road driving in the last few weeks. prior to that i was getting an uncharactistically high fuel consumption of 8 odd L/ 100km but soon realised that my tyre pressure was quite low.

Got about 17k on the clock and the car gets better by the km!

My 118 TSI Jetta (same as Polarbear with supercharger cover removed) seems to be getting around 650k's on 50ltrs average, I live in the shire and traffic at 7am in the morning is very stop / start...... on a trip i have had 800k's on 50ltrs. Jetta has just turned over 11,300k's.
