  • Reasonable drive away for FSI Pacific

    Hi,

I've pretty much decided to buy a new FSI Pacific (man) and was wondering what sort of price expectations I should have. The dealer I saw today quoted 33,965. I would expect there to be some pencil sharpening but this being my first new car for 10 years, and my first VW, I'm not sure what would be a reasonable deal.

If anyone can share their experiences I would be most grateful.

    Cheers

Why not look at a Skoda Octavia Elegance liftback with the 1.8 Turbo engine? Near enough the same interior as the Pacific, bigger cargo area, more power, bigger torque spread, better fuel economy. Mine was a fraction under $33k drive-away in NSW (so even cheaper in any other state).

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
