Can anyone in Sydney help to adapt a newer (Jul 07) cluster into my 06 Jetta?

Am I asking for the impossible?

I have a donor highline cluster out of a GTI (07 build), so the immobiliser is immo4c.

My existing cluster is a midline pre mid 06, so immobiliser is immo4.

I know that I could use a VAG Commander clone cable on another pre 06 cluster to read the skc and then adapt to my car, but from what I have read online, it can’t be done with anything newer.
