  • Service Required Warning on OD

    Hi there,

Had my Golf V 2.0 TDI Serviced recently....sticker on windscreen says next service due at 58k kms.....yet the OD has started telling me to get it serviced now, but it's only at 48k kms. I know VW dealer can reset this with some wierd magic involving the indicator/cruise control stalk(which he would not let me observe) - does anybody else know how to do this? Just want to save myself a trip to VW dealer again.....this happened 5000kms after my last service.

    Thanks.

Ignition off, press odometer button in and turn ign on. Release odo button and then press the minute button, all done, easy as

Calculates on time aswell as Km's. I'm assuming from your post you haven't exceeded the service interval time though.....
