Steering Wheel looks like it came from a Porsche 997 911 hmmmm got to love that influence.

Looks nice - doesn't appear to be any major differences and the diesel engines appear to be the same - so no real major changes to cause all to slash our wrists lol

Agree nothing major at all. The tail lights remind me of the Mk4 a little bit.

It's just as well they didn't make them look much different mine's costing me over $40k and I haven't even got it yet. I would have been fuming if they'd made it look totally different, IMO I think my new '08 TDI GT Sport looks nicer I'm just going mad waiting to get it !!!!

You wonder why it is a MK6 - it looks like more of a MK5F. The Polo MK3 to MK3F looks like it has more changes than the MK6 over the MK5.

EOS / Scirocco Interior. Back looks very A3ish. Subtle changes nothing to make me regret the 08 GTI purchase.

Scirocco front, Mk5 side, Toureg rear... it sure is a Volkswagen.

It won't offend anyone and is quite pleasant, but doesn't really break new ground. I guess like most manufacturers who revamp volume sellers, they've trod the more conservative line (I'm thinking 3 series, Corolla, C class...).

Maybe the GT/GTI,R32(6) versions will be more exciting?

                    Looks pretty good I think.

But hey, its a golf, the only car more boring is a corolla. And proof is in the pudding with the sales of both models. Boring sells like hot cakes.

At least VW has Germanic flair (*snicker*) as compared to the heart, soul and styling of a washing machine or dishwasher.

They also have german pricing to match

But don't get me wrong, I'd be hard pressed to buy a Japanese car again. Im quite fond of my VW already.

I can't wait for my GTI! I am getting rid of my Jap import though I must say I have never shown much interest in VW and not sure why until this year! I was missing out!
