Reversing Light wiring question....

Hi guys, just looking for some guidance and advice in regards to the reversing light wiring in a Bora. I haven't had a chance to look for myself as it was dark when I got home tonight.

I have purchased a new GPS unit that comes with a wireless reversing camera. The camera is coupled to a small transmitter that is powered when the reverse gear is selected (feeding off the reversing light wiring). I am not sure if there is a multiplexed trunk wire that would effectively write-off the camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would just remove the bulb holder from the back light and work out with a multimeter what the wire colours do. Browns are earths.

I don't reckon it would be multiplexed for this application.

Possible Sydney trip in the next couple of weeks.
