just wondering how many others out there have had their back seats rattling, makes sort of a creaky/squeaky sound... and if so what is the best fix for it? i believe its a common problem in mk4 golfs from talking to some mechs.

No creaks on mine...
...However my centre armrest squeeks and creeks. (Need to get that sorted!)
The only creeks that I thought were quite common was the glovebox area, mine was replaced under warranty so all good there too!MY18 VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition + Panoramic Sunroof + some extra goodies... (Pure White)

On the rear seat there is a handle to pull to release the seat and drop it foward, there is a latch mechanism at the back you will see once the seat is foward. Put a little grease on it (the retainer latch contact point) and the squeek should disappear.
