Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
NA does have a satisfying throttle and no lag which i like about it more predictable too.
You wont get any gains from 100 RON if the car isn't tuned for it. The BMC CDA does have a cold air duct but ram air still doesn't make that much difference on an NA (but the carbon intake sounds cool).
The APR will take the tune for the higher fuel....
JVLR32 be careful with the BMC intake if you are going to run the car in any CAMS tarmac rally events as they are not legal to run, I had to remove mine but we found that using the Euro spec intake from the MKIV DSG R32 we got the same grams per second intake of air as I did with the BMC. It has a much larger intake pipe to ours and with a K&N filter performs the same as the BMC.
Cheers Al
Thanks Al..interesting thanks for that...Are using a higher fuel in your car? 102,104 etc

Are you talking about the brand new R32 APR tune? There is a 100 octane tune but not a 100 RON tune as far as i know. Even if you did do that you'd have to spend extra on the fuel (which may or may not be worth it) and as soon as you're stuck putting 98 or lower in it wont perform.

Yes I use 104 on events and have the APR code, they used my car to develop it for the Aus spec cars.
It has also been customised for me by APR to allow left foot braking without cutting the throttle, Guy has the file still just request it from him if you want it.
Ive done a car with Miltek headers , its expensive , but if your chasing every last hp nothing will be cheap . And for the record its not a bolt on fit

Bugger... How much work is involved in getting them to fit? Also is the reason they don't fit due to the differences in the Australian spec engine?
Cheers,
