  • Oils for the other bits

    Hi Guys,

I have looked and looked but I can't seem to find any definitive information about oils for things other than the engine.

Specifically the gearbox, bevel box, rear diff and haldex (which appears to be only genuine, from dealer?)

    Thanks guys.

Haldex oil is a vw part but you dont have to buy from them.

gearbox and bevel have the same stuff in them there's internal passageways.

rear diff has the same stuff in from memory. Prett sure it's 85/90

Cheers for that. I did use the penrite one at the shops and it didn't have the information so assumed the online one would be the same.

Yes the transmission, rear diff and bevel box all take 75-90 fully synthetic oil.

            Thanks guys
