How are you getting on with the Ground Control top mounts? I've just picked up a set of second hand ones.

Are you going to run engine mount raisers? A mate in the uk uses them, once you chassis is notched you get a bit more clearance on for the sump but also ensures your drive shafts are running at a safer angle.

This is rad. It scares the **** out of me how low it is but I love it!

I can't believe the burn mark on the inside of the well. Thats nuts.

I went a little bit low on coilovers, but swapped them out for static Bilsteins. I just needed a more practical ride.

What side skirts and front and rear are they if you dont mind me asking?

Side skirts are Bora R Reps from Optikwerks Volkswagen Body Kit
and front and rear lips are just standard 4motion ones man

quick update

so finally got a message back from the guys in Melbs about my adapters



lets hope they're here by friday


so put the other guard back on and need to roll the guards some more



so i also took the sway bar links out and need to cut it out as well or drop my subframe and take it out



Really wanna go a bit lower, tbh i think it'll sit a bit lower as well as the car isn't on a flat surface atm





Thanks to a mate Chester ( some of you might know him, bagged r32 (DCUPS) ) - WCI MT10's i grabbed this plate holder coz my old stance works one got stolen



these plastic headlight lenses i got are holding up well!! Still on the search for some OEM glass ones




think its time for a Notch, will do it sometime in the next few months - self notched right now





i love these tails !!! so can confirm atm that they're the only Hella Clears in Australia - Dylan Taylor ordered some while back he said but got lost in transit - so if anyone knows of anyone who has them in Aus as well let me know !!



ok and also my side skirts arrived and i was upset in the condition they arrived in
Aus post or USPS handled it really bad and was ripped open and the bubble wrap was removed and only left on the tops
then the side skirts were snapped - so i have put a claim through and told the seller and he is taking care of it but for WTAC in october il just repair them



as you can see the cracks in the skirts line up with the box marks



but tbh they look alright will colour code it with the boar's paint same goes for the front and rear valance
they look good give the side of the car a bit more shape

Why not just run the same tyre and adapter size sam had setup? Was perfect.

I'm running 30mm back and front and running a bit more aggressive camber in the front than Sam so i can be a bit lower
sam had 30mm on the rear and 27mm on the front

so the ****ers that are sending me my adapters are taking me forever, they were being custom made and sent so i don't know whats taking them so long !!
but in the meantime i gave the azevs some attention


so here what i got up to

i changed the valve caps as well, will be getting stainless steel valves as well when i change the tires over

the barrels were really clean !!

all cleaned up, Coated the barrels with brake dust repellent and buying some new ceramic brake pads as well

aight lets do a quick update


ordered the Adapters, just waiting for a response and a due date for them
decided to go with 30mm all round hopefully it goes alright



front end is still off til i can flare the guards and roll the inner lip or cut them out with a grinder ( plus has made working on the struts and that super easy !!!! )




just need and want to clean up the bay a bit more make it shine, so will be spraying the Intake Mani black sometime soon
and will get some billet caps made up for the oil, expansion tank, washer bottle ( if i still keep it ) and the steering fluid Reservoir



most defiantly need a new expansion tank, this one is getting a bit gross



also put a bit of clear coat on this burn mark ( from old tires ) so it won't rust ( hopefully )



then got around to putting in the Ground Control Camber tops i got from Samuel with some help from Nick_mk1

I'm super keen to get these on !!


gave one of them a good clean and haven't gotten to the rest of them, they're in pretty good nik, look good, paint and centre caps all fresh !! and shine pretty good after a clean !!
will be rad once I've got them mounted on
might have to get smaller tires not sure yet, but we will see when we get there

also have been thinking about some other colours for the wheels
( suggestions are welcome )

some stupid stickers for fun til the guards go back on !!

Quick Update

Drove the car around the block, did a skid and made me happy again.
i miss being able to drive this car everyday.
still waiting on a few parts to come before i put it all together though.

Anyone have tips on Painting Textured Lips ? ( Colour matching front, rear, and side skirts )
I've tried some high fill plastic primer and a lot of sanding is there another quick ways/tips ?
