Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Rotors R32

    Evening all.

    Just a quick question to ask where people get their new rotors from? Seems I can order from UK and is cheaper than ordering from Oz which can't be right.

    Sounds about right to me. Including delivery it's quite often cheaper to buy from the UK than here. Especially for genuine parts.

      Managed to get front & rear drilled slotted rotors for $500.

      Benefits of a family member flying out in two weeks - no postage fee

      Now to find some other small bits and pieces for them to bring!

        I bought a set of floating 2 piece slotted and drilled R32 fronts from ECS for about half the price of OEM VW.

        Make sure the prices you're getting aren't for single piece rotors.
