As above, is it a straight fitment besides the rear valance which I Imagine would need cutting out ?
Anyone heard one ? Seen them on the Tube but not on the streets.

This has been discussed on the UK MKIV forum. The tailpipes that extend from the rear muffler are much longer on the Bora (being a sedan rather than a hatch). You would have to cut the tail pipes and extend them. Otherwise, it would be a perfect fit (cat back only as the cat-downpipes are different).
That sounds promising, do you by chance have a link to the thread or know how long it would need to be extended by ?
It would be cool to have the flapper in there as well !
Thanks !

No it wouldn't. Why do you think all us .:R boys disconnect ours.
If you get sick of the sound (which you don't) all you have to do is turn up the stereo.
I dont have a link, I just remember reading it when I was researching my Milltek cat-back. Take a look around the forums (link below), they are quite useful for us 4motion guys (esp. coz the US didnt get the Bora/Jetta V6 4motion)
Saw you had an R32 stock exhaust for sale not to long ago. Do you still have one and do you think it might bolt up to a Bora v6 without much fuss ?
Hey buddy a R32 exhaust would bolt up to a Bora V6 "4 Motion" no fuss
or none that i can forsee any way..
however if it was a FWD v6 then that is a different story as you know floor pans etc.
The cool thing about the R32 muffler is that the Rear tips can unbolt from the side mainly so you can adjust them up and down to line them up perfectly but you can also remove them easily and bolt in new ones..
problem with bolting up to the bora is that the exit pipes wouldnt initially reach the rear bumper valance if you were aiming to get a dual pipe look on the rear bumper of your car..
i cant imagine it costing more than 60 bucks to get the exit pipes extended out to meet the rear valance
and then to solve the valance issue you can just "mould" the valance with a heat gun and a circular shaped item untill its the perfect round ness for your exit pipes...
