  • Spark Plugs/Gap size

    Hey guys,

I looked through the FAQ but couldn't find anything.

Need to replace my plugs. What do you guys suggest using?? I'm thinking of just going one step colder NGK v-power copper plug, and I've read on an international forum to gap them at 0.032.

    Any suggestions/advice??

    Thanks

Ok for anyone who might be interested.

    I used NGK: BKR7E
Gapped at 29 Thou or 0.029

these are a copper plug so they do not last long, but dissipate heat much more effectively than iridiums, and cost bugger all in comparison. Also they actually give a better spark. Iridium/platinum just last longer....

from now on I will check and possibly change my plugs every 8k kms. this is actually quite convenient, because that's about when I like changing the oil too
