Hey guys got some issues with this front strut bar I purchased from ultra racing. Not sure if I have to drill holes to install or what the go is.
looka like this is really just for the looks rather than improved handling etc.
If anyone know how to install please help!

Looks like it's made to bolt to the strut towers. ie. drilling and bolts required.

Yep you gonna need to drill.
Did the bar come with nuts, bolts & washers ? A plate for the under side would be preferable too.

Are there any instructions in the box ?

Yeah it came with these but no under plate or nothing.
Would it make a difference? Isn't it meant to be holding onto the the actual struts? Doesn't make a difference if it's on the car chassis, does it?

I'd take out the struts and then drill those holes, put on some rust kill. Install the bar with washers on the under side, then put the struts back in.

The bar is designed to stop the top of the strut towers from folding in towards each other by stiffening the chassis. Its arguably pointless on a mk4 and not many people run them. Supposedly a sub frame brace is more worth it.

Lol at how high your strut hats are... Maybe some new strut top mounts are more beneficial.
