Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Thanks mate I bought another car with 70.000 on the clock so all the interior bits were like new. I will get some more pics when the car has been cleaned. I went for the first drive today, it goes real good and the suspension handles real nice. The only issue you have is the clutch is starting to slip due to running 21psi suppose to standard boost. Can't wait until I get some wheels it really is going to set it off. Then get all the niggely bits done and then I can start going to some shows.

Disconnect the N75 or wind a turn off the actuator Simon. It'll last longer.

I have just wet vacked up the interior and it has come up a million dollars. No tilt I am afraid but I will transfer of the mechanisms at some point. Still plenty to go but it drivable now which is the main thing.

Random question if I decided to sell this does anyone know what it would be worth? No matter how much research I do. I can't put a price on this car.
