Oh man! Did you need a three button remote for this to work?

Yeah you do so I bought a 3 button case, got some micro switches of English eBay soldered them into the 2 button circuit board, no programming and it works straight away

Write up DIY! need to know how you did it as I need to wire in my ccm to have my buttons to work!

Ok I haven't been on here for a while, but the 1.6 was way to underpowered and it was nothing but issues so I bought a crashed gti with 72,000. And I got it for a bargain so I have been busy today doing this.

It's a shame because in the rest of the world they are common as anything!!!! The only thing I am thinking of now is do I put the nice recaros knowing full well they don't tilt or just leave them.

Slowly getting there

By the looks of things I am going to have to change over the whole car loom this weekend as I have two to many plugs in the bulk head. Has any one messed around with the immobilisers on these I have changed the clocks and the chip in the key but the immobiliser keeps on cutting of the fuel pump and the light is flashing in the clocks.

Strip your mechanisms out of your seats and retro fit them to the Recaros.
