Just wondering what OBD sensors some guys have used and how's it worked on an iOS device as I'm using an iPhone. I've heard some bad reviews over iPhone OBD readings.
Anyone have any experience with them and what sensor/app they're using?

You won't get much out of the mk4 mate. No comments on the apps as I have VCDS.

If you want it for scanning and clearing codes, just get a cheap android phone. The ECU isn't too clever in the MK4 compared to newer models.

That's cause we never got OBD on mk3/mk4 models , just the basic interface to scan/change coding etc and not to do any readiness codes etc .
