when i try to adjust the left mirror it works fine, but if want to adjust the right one, the left one copies everything! It moves as well! Im able to rotate the switch full circle so i think that the problem is there. Did anyone come across a similar problem?

Mine makes reference to moving the left one for synchronisation but I think it's probably for the lhd market as the rest of the manual is.
If you adjust the right hand mirror first and then the left you can get them both to your desired position.
I think it's so you can adjust a mirror for parking so you can see the kurb or cars either side of you maybe. You can then move the mirrors back for normal driving and they will return to the same position??? Must be a German thing...sigpic

Some areas in SEQ have been down to 3 degrees lately.
I have seen the O/side temperature at 12.5 degrees this morning around 7:30am. So maybe it does get cold enough?!MY18 VW Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition + Panoramic Sunroof + some extra goodies... (Pure White)

The sync mirror thing can be rather handy when reverse parking, you can tilt them down together to see the lines. But since I have my left mirror pointing down slightly more than the right the left stops at the bottom and and the right continues to come down. When I put them back up the left comes up as high as the right and I have to readjust the left one.
My manual also mentions the option for AUTO tilting of mirros when reverse selected, and then going back to the original position. This would save me from realising that they are pointing down when I go make a fast lane change after leaving the shopping centre.
Anyone know how to activate this freature ??MK4 GTI - Sold
