I have had a good look at that pipe in the photo and it feels alright. I bought some new pipe joiners to see if they where the leak but no they weren't. I took of my boost controller bleed a value. To see if that was leaking but no. Without it, it will boost up to 8psi and drop to 6psi. I guess I might have to find someone that can pressure test for boost leak. Could there be a problem with my engine valves or cylinder compression?

You're over thinking things, get your charge side pressure tested before freaking out about busted pistons. Check under clamps for tears on the charge pipes, my Audi S4 has a bad habit of blowing out the throttle body boot every few weeks. It rips right on the under side underneath the clamp so you can't see a thing.

Have you scanned it with vag-com?

When i first bought my car I took it to the main vw dealer in Adelaide to get it checked out. They said it was a good car. They did checked for fault codes they told me the codes were to do with the aftermarked stereo and gps. I'm sure if there was something wrong they would have told me as I paid them $200+ for it.

I'm going to build my own boost pressure tester. As my mechanic can't test it and I got half the parts at my work. I found a video on it on YouTube. (mighty mods). Plus a few writes ups on other sites.

Is there more than one way for the 1.8l turbo engines to dump boost? There is 2 pipes going into the blow off valve.

It recirculates, not dumped to atmosphere.

              Hi everyone.

I took my car to German auto Adelaide. They found that the ecu was controlling the boost even though I had put a bleed value in to increase the boost. So it all fixed. They took off my boost contoller. So I'm running stock boost. Dose anyone have a tune ecu for sale lol.
