MK4 GTI Clutch creak/squeak

As the title says, my 02 model MK4 GTI has develoved a noticeable clutch creak/squeak.
Only happens when pedal is being moved and when the car is warm/hot.

Can actually feel the 'creak' through the pedal.
Can't hear anything from the pedal in the cabin, seems to be around the slave cylinder area.

Car has done 120,000 and has a Stage 1 tune.
Anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like the return spring on the pedal is what's making the noise.

This is not the diaphragm, but the one that that returns the pedal.
